IT’S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN! The Georgia State Women’s Basketball Team tips off November 6th against the University of Montevallo Falcons.
This will be the first and only exhibition game for the Lady Panthers this year, so we should see action from the entire team. Georgia State is coming off a (12-19) season, and lost their leading scorer and school record holder for three-pointers made, Kendra Long.
However, the Lady Panthers do return Alisha Andrews, Haley Gerrin, and Brittany Logan the Sun Belt Conference leaders in assists, field goal percentages, and offensive rebounds, respectively. The University of Montevallo Falcons are coming to the GSU Sports Arena after going (8-18) last year.
The Falcons are returning three starters from last year’s team, and they all hope to excel past the preseason prediction of finishing 14th in the Peach Belt Conference. It looks to be a good game in the Sports Arena Thursday night. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
